Evaluation of the Treatment and Clinical Follow up in Diabetic Foot Problem

ABSTRACT

Diabetic foot is one of the chronic but preventable complications of diabetes mellitus. Although the preventive measures of diabetic foot are simple and far from being expensive, treatment measures are difficult and the cost is high. This complication may also lead to foot loses and patient morbidity if unproperly treated. These facts highlight the importance of the education of diabetic patients about the subject. We evaluated our diabetic foot cases due to the classification, follow up and treatment in a three year period in the view of the literature.
